Set the earning and redemption rules for your rewards program. These apply across every location and channel — in-store, online, and kiosk.
Loyalty model
How customers earn rewards. In production this is set with Splango during onboarding; here you can switch it to preview each experience.
Points based
Customers earn points based on how much they spend, then redeem them for catalog rewards. Works in-store, online, and at the kiosk.
Visit based
Customers check in at the kiosk each visit and earn a reward after a set number of visits. No online ordering required.
Earning
A $27.95 order earns 27 points at 1 pt per $1. Points accrual on live orders is not yet wired.
Redemption
The rewards customers redeem points for — and their point costs — are defined in your Rewards catalog. The settings below apply across all of them.
A 5% reward rate means a $5 reward costs 100 points (20 points per $1). This rate suggests point costs when you add rewards to the catalog.
Customers can apply one reward per order. This is the most common setup and keeps redemption predictable.
Points expiration
Expiration is off by default. Many programs keep points active as long as the customer visits at least once per period.
The joining bonus — points new customers receive when they join your loyalty program. A small head start makes the first reward feel within reach.
Kiosk screen

Type & colour
Rotating taglines
Shown one at a time, under the headline, fading between them — a kiosk is read by somebody walking past for two seconds, so one idea at a time beats a paragraph. With none set, the sub-heading is shown on its own.
Type {points} and it becomes your real welcome bonus. Write the number by hand and you'll be promising 50 points long after you changed it to 100 — the kiosk would stand there lying to customers all day.
Leave the text fields blank and the kiosk writes its own, to match your programme. The idle timer matters more than it looks: a kiosk left on somebody's half-finished form is a kiosk showing a stranger their phone number.
Drag anything on the preview to move it. It snaps to the centre and the thirds. Positions are saved as percentages, so the layout means the same thing on a 10″ iPad and a 13″ one — a pixel position would land somewhere else on every screen.
Open this on the iPad and add it to the home screen — it runs full-screen, with no browser bar. Use Guided Access (Settings → Accessibility) so a customer can't wander off into Safari.
Customize how the iPad signup experience looks at the counter, the attract-mode video, and the QR code customers scan.
Attract video
Looping content shown when no customer is at the counter.
Counter QR code
Printable or on-screen QR for scan-receipt signups.
Auto-return timing
How long the kiosk stays idle before returning to the attract loop.
Logo & colour
Used by your campaign emails, the kiosk and your rewards page. Set here even if you don't take orders online.
256×256px, square, transparent PNG.
This is your marketing brand. The storefront menu has its own logo and colour in Online Ordering → Settings → Branding — they're separate so an email and a menu can look different, and so an account without online ordering still has a logo.
Your brand identity drives every customer-facing email, kiosk screen, and rewards page. Update it once and it applies everywhere.
Brand voice
Set the tone the AI uses when writing campaigns — warm and hospitable, refined, playful, bold.
Brand story
Brand origin story. The AI references this when relevant.

Online Ordering
Your business
1 · Store profile
Name, address and phone are merged into order emails, and the phone appears on the customer's confirmation screen so they know who to call to change an order.
2 · Branding
How the storefront looks to your customers.
Drives buttons, links and highlights across the whole storefront — it isn't decoration painted on top.
Match the customer's device is the kind option: someone running their phone in dark mode usually has a reason. Pick Light or Dark only if the brand demands it.
Menu typography
Colours are roles, not free-choice swatches — so they stay readable, and they follow your brand colour and dark mode automatically. The fonts are system fonts: nothing to download, so the menu never flashes unstyled text on a phone.
Sandwiches
Chopped brisket, pickles & onion on brioche.
Menu search
256 × 256px, square. PNG with a transparent background.
It renders at 34×34 in the header and is scaled to fit, so a square mark stays sharp and a wide wordmark will shrink to almost nothing. Use the mark, not the full lock-up. Minimum 128×128.
1200 × 270px (roughly 4.5:1). JPG is fine.
Keep the subject in the middle. The banner is cropped to fill, and it's much narrower on a phone than on a desktop — only the centre ~45% is guaranteed to be visible. A dish centred in frame survives; a logo in the corner gets cut off.
The restaurant name sits over the bottom-left, so avoid busy detail there. Without a hero, the brand colour is used.
3 · Hours & availability
Every bookable time slot is generated from these hours — closed days produce no slots, and ASAP shuts off when there isn't time to cook before you close.
Set a day's open and close to the same time to mean open 24 hours. A close time earlier than the open time means you trade past midnight (e.g. 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM).
To stop taking orders right now, use Order flow at the top of the page — that's the temporary pause. These hours are your standing schedule.
Taking orders
4 · Order & fulfillment
Which ways customers can receive their orders.
These prep times are the kitchen's lead time: the earliest bookable slot is never sooner than this, and ASAP switches off when there isn't time to cook before you close.
5 · Delivery
ZIP codes are enforced — checkout blocks delivery to an address outside the list. Radius is not: measuring distance needs an address lookup service, which this prototype has no provider for.
6 · Scheduled orders
Let customers order ahead for a later time. Slots are built from your opening hours, so closed days and blackout dates are skipped automatically.
Two different cutoffs. Last bookable slot stops customers reserving the final minutes of service. Stop ASAP orders is last call — ASAP disappears once there isn't time to cook an order before you close, counting the prep time set above. Set it to 0 to allow ASAP right up until prep time runs out.
7 · Kitchen capacity
Stops a rush stacking more orders on one time slot than the kitchen can cook. Counts every order in the kitchen — ASAP, scheduled, and orders forwarded from DoorDash, Uber Eats or Grubhub. They all take up the same minutes, and the kitchen doesn't care which app the ticket came from.
Full slots show as Full and can't be picked; a day with no free slots disappears from the picker. Need to slow things down right now? Rush mode lives in the Orders tab — and in Order ATC — because it's something you reach for mid-service, not a setting you configure.
Money
8 · Tax
What you charge, and on what.
No rates are prefilled, and none are guessed. Rates differ by state, by county and by category, and a number we invented would be the one you left alone. Enter the rates that apply where you trade, from your accountant or your state's revenue department — until you do, no sales tax is charged, and you will still owe it out of your own margin.
A single rate across the whole menu is wrong in most of the US — prepared food, packaged goods, soda and alcohol are commonly taxed differently, and some are exempt. Assign a class to each item in the menu builder; anything unclassified uses the default class.
Whether delivery charges are taxable depends on your state — confirm with your accountant.
9 · Fees
Any charge beyond the food itself — bag, packaging, service, small-order.
Add one, name it, set the amount. Nothing is charged until you add it, and no amount is prefilled: bag charges, in particular, are mandated in some places, banned in others, and set at different rates — use whatever applies where you trade. Tick Taxable only where the fee itself is taxed; that varies by fee and by jurisdiction, so confirm with your accountant. Fees are never discounted and never tipped on, and every fee is shown to the customer by name at checkout — hidden mandatory fees are illegal in a growing number of places.
The delivery fee is set in 10 · Delivery, alongside the delivery minimum and free-delivery threshold.
10 · Tips
Tips go to your staff. They are calculated on the food, never on tax or fees.
A None option is always offered and can't be removed — a customer must be able to decline a tip.
11 · Payments
How customers can pay at checkout.
Card entry is simulated — nothing is charged and no card data leaves the browser. Wire up a payment provider's hosted fields before taking real money.
12 · Payment processing
Who actually moves the money. Section 6 decides what customers can pay with; this decides who processes the card.
The statement descriptor is what customers see on their bank statement, and it's printed on the refund email. If they can't recognise it, they call their bank instead of you — which is a chargeback. Max 22 characters.
Card checkout is still simulated in this prototype. Saving a processor here records the choice and shows the right branding at checkout, but no charge is attempted and no card data leaves the browser. Going live means swapping the storefront's card form for the processor's own hosted fields — which is also what keeps you out of PCI scope, because the card number never touches your page.
Your menu
13 · Age-restricted items
Alcohol, tobacco, anything requiring an ID. Off unless you sell it.
14 · Popular items
Show a highlighted row of items at the top of your storefront menu. Publishes live to the storefront.
15 · Suggested add-ons
Offer a few quick add-ons (a drink, a side, a dessert) in the customer's cart. Publishes live to the storefront.
Items already in the cart are skipped automatically, so customers only see things they haven't ordered yet.
After the order
16 · Loyalty & points (Splango)
The earn rate and reward catalog are program-wide — they're set once in Loyalty → Rewards and apply to every channel. This switch only decides whether online orders take part.
17 · Notifications & receipts
To the customer
To the restaurant
Preferences are saved and drive the storefront, but no email is actually sent in this prototype — there's no mail server wired up.
Kitchen ticket
Getting orders in
18 · Integrations
Get delivery-app orders onto the same screen as your website orders. Paste your forwarding address into each app's notification settings, and their orders appear in Order ATC.
holysmokes-a7f3c9@orders.splango.com
Keep this private. Anything emailed to it becomes a live ticket in your kitchen. Don't publish it or use it as a contact address — only paste it into a delivery app's notification settings.
Connected apps
Tick Remits sales tax for any app that collects and pays the tax itself. Marketplace facilitators (DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub) normally do — and if the box is wrong, your sales summary will report the wrong tax to remit.
Commission is optional. Leave it blank and the sales summary reports marketplace sales gross — the honest thing to do if you reconcile from each app's payout statement. Fill it in and the summary also shows an estimated payout. It can't know about promo fees, marketing spend or adjustments, so it will never match the statement exactly. A stale rate is worse than none: if you renegotiate, update it or clear it.
No live marketplace connection is wired in this prototype — the address and statuses are illustrative. Note that pausing orders in Order flow only stops your own storefront; delivery apps don't know about it, so you'd still pause inside each app.
19 · Put ordering on your website
Send customers a link, or drop the menu straight into your existing site.
Works in Squarespace, Wix, WordPress and most site builders — anywhere you can add an HTML or embed block. allow="payment" is what lets card payment work inside the frame; drop it and checkout may fail. Set the height to suit your page — the menu scrolls inside the frame.
20 · Order at the table
Put a QR code on every table. Scanning it opens your menu with the table already selected — no pickup or delivery questions, and the order arrives in the kitchen tagged with the table number.
